Defunding Police Could Mean Death of More Children

Be­tween Fri­day and Sun­day in At­lanta, there were 11 dif­fer­ent shoot­ings and 31 vic­tims, five of whom were killed, a spokesman for the At­lanta Po­lice De­part­ment said. More than 75 shoot­ings have oc­curred in At­lanta over the last sev­eral weeks, Mayor Keisha Lance Bot­toms said.
