Being an immigrant from a country where American (level of) Freedom is unfathomable, I am PRO LIBERTY EQUALITY OPPORTUNITY. When I see kids being unafraid of police I also see that same courage as courage that comes through in American innovation and risk taking.
BUT looting is NOT my interpretation of freedom, nor correct expression of rage.
Black Lives Matter will have much greater impact if life experiences are built on No Kid Left Behind – rage can be expressed the way it was by Mohammad Ali and Colin Kaepernick and MANY MANY MANY Black Musicians, Athletes, Artists WHO ARE INTEGRAL to American Economy, Culture and Image: by excelling and riding out of sordid life conditions.
Without equivocation:
POLICE MUST be held accountable for CRIMES against Americans.
Black children must be GIVEN EQUAL LEVEL PLATFORMS.
America without Freedom will not be America. Nor will America be America if it is hostage of Anarchists and Racists.
